I put the sleeve (for lack of better word?) over the top my golf bag then put the golf bag inside the travel bag. I shipped my clubs from NH to Myrtle Beach round trip, with no issues at all. They do sell a device to give the heads more protection, I opted not to buy it. No regrets so far! **Q: can you lock it?** A: You can, I bought the TSA approved Master Lock with the bag. The zippers have the loops to thread the TSA approved lock. You have to purchase separately, but it is made ready for the lock. **Q: Is this made by caddy daddy, and what is the warranty on this item** A: There is no way to know what firm actually makes this product. It's branded as Amazon Basics. The construction seems decent overall, EXCEPT, the plastic slide rail features on the back side of the bag. Having significant experience with plastics, it seems to me the wrong plastic resin type was used to make and it breaks very easily as it is quite thin and brittle. Mine only lasted for two flights! Amazon gave me a full refund and let me keep the bag. Other than the component manufacturing issue I referenced, this seems like a decent bag. Unfortunately, once the plastic component breaks there's no easy way to repair it - and it most certainly will break.
