It gives fairly good indication whether the soil is moist or not ; also helps with sunlight and ph balance . I use it mostly for indoor plants but works as good for out door plants too .

I decided not to return because i only need the moisture level. The PH level and light doesn't work at all.

It is not working and already broken when trying on my plant pot.

So far I am happy with it, purpose served. It has three different indicator settings ( Moisture,Ph and Light). Mostly I am using it for checking the soil moisture for my indoor plants, and I am happy with the result. I can see that it shows PH value, but unless I can verify the value against a lab result, I may not be able to judge the accuracy. But overall, worth it.

The 3 in 1 soil tester is awesome.every gardener needs this tool.it saves money also in determining the pH for grass soil, no need of expensive pH testing kits. I highly recommend this product great price too.

i have two bins of soil for gardening. One bin is regular soil. The other has been mixed with coffee grounds which means it should have a different ph/acid rating than the other bin. nope. this meter reads them both the same.
