Paper quality not as expected
The book looks great with good binding and outer cover. The paper quality is not good for a bullet journal as the ink reflects on the back side of the page. Cannot use sketch. Only pen works that too ball pen. Ink pen will leave impression on the other side of the page.

Perfect Journal with blank page on left and lined page on right.
These are so difficult to find. I love the format with the plain page on the left and the ruled page on the right. It allows for normal diary and/or journal entries and the space to either draw or affix related photos and/or reference materials. Wish these weren't so hard to find, especially for a decent price. The paper weight is about medium and unless you are using a heavy waterproof type ink, most pens do not bleed through this. I've used fountain pens, porous point and gel pens without bleed through. My only complaint, and it is relative to any journal with an elastic band -- the elastic does eventually stretch out and become somewhat ineffective. I have purchased my own elastic and make my own bands once this happens. Generally it is years before the elastic stretches out of shape though.

My go-to for a journal!
I purchase one of these notebooks every year to use as my daily planner and it has always been my favorite choice of journal! The size is perfect for traveling and carrying with you, and I like the line spacing of the pages. My only complaint is the cover; since it is a bit soft, the cardboard tends to bend around the corners as seen on the pictures of the spine. However, this is probably just from wear - these pictures are from about 6 months of using it. Overall, a great choice for those looking for a journal with convenience and style!
