This is exactly what you think you are buying: a cheap Halloween cape. still, it is a little thicker and higher quality than the average party city or Halloween megastore cape. I don't know if I feel the cape is really worth the amount of money I spent but I was desperate for a little more quality than cheap and fake satin. Get this if you need a quick cape and don't care about little details like a cheaply attatched ribbon and slightly visible internal seeming on the hood. Oh ALSO it's super long, for me atleast. I'm 5 foot 2 and it hangs a good half foot past me so keep that in mind when purchasing

I used this cape for my Red Riding Hood costume. The fabric is soft, flows in the wind for theatrical effect, and easy to wash. The hood has a unique shape to it; most capes I found had a basic shape, but the added curve at crown of this cape gives it a more "folk tale" theme, which is what I was looking for. However, I gave it four stars because the bottom kept catching to twigs and grass; I had to pull them off before putting the cape in the wash. The cape is LONG; I'm 5'2" and there was a trail. I don't mind the length, but the sewing method and material used to seal the frays catch easily to small twigs, leaves, and grass, and acts like a rake. I also did not like the ribbon used to secure the hood. It feels like a silky ribbon, which you have to double knot to keep secure (a single bow kept coming undone), but a double knot made the knot too small to undo easily. I eventually was able to untie it, but not without more effort than I would like.

Its perfect! I am 5'7". I was telling myself it was going to be too short from some of the reviews, but it IS NOT! The length is perfect. What it doesn't do is wrap closed, which is ok. I think I like it better that way. And the hood is perfect. It doesn't choke you from being too small. It doesn't pull up from the shoulders. Its plenty big to hide your face if you wanted too. And stays on your head! There is no lining. Its a very simple satin cape, with a ribbon tie. And for the price, I love it! I ordered purple. And it is a royal purple. Not a blackish purple, or a reddish purple, it is a nice purple! I will be ordering another cape in a different color. (Blue). Since now I know it will more than fit my daughter. She is 5'2". She likes things long, so this will be right up to expectations! Don't hesitate to buy. For me, it was $9.00 well spent.

Now she can say Amuck Amuck Amuck for Halloween! Robe is just what we needed and completed her Sarah Sanderson costume. 5’3 with a slight heel on the shoe. It drags behind her a little which is what she wanted. Material is soft and easy to wear.
