But, I wouldn't suggest it. **Q: Would this work to make heated socks?** A: I've made heated gloves using thin gauge copper wire. It is very flexible which is good for gloves. Make sure to do the math on how much power your wire element will consume, calculated by squaring the voltage of your source divided by the resistance of the wire: V^2/R. 5W is a good starting point.
