NOT A NORMAL CUFF!! AMAZING!!!! EASY WRAP COMFIT CUFF!!!!! GET THIS NOW!!!!
I bought this for my BFF’s Birthday as we have a rule, you must be able to eat it, wear or NEED it and she NEEDED IT! She had an old school sphygmomanometer cuff on the digital base and if her mom visited she would have to swap out the cuff and then slide her arm in...(you know the drill or you wouldn’t be reading this) and she hated it. The ADC cuff pinched and it was difficult to do and Lining it up on the brachial artery as she is single, is a tough task with an ADC cuff.I kept telling her to just throw it out as it is junk and she swore it was “calibrated” correctly (these cheap battery operated Bp cuffs can not be calibrated so what she meant was that it matched her doctors) and I said I would believe it when I saw it.Being a Nurse Practitioner, I had to prove a point as her Bp is VERY important as she is running on 30% kidney function so accuracy is important, so I brought my stethoscope and old fashioned sphygmomanometer cuff over to her house and let her get relaxed while we talked (she knew I had it with me but a resting Bp is best and white coat syndrome is real folks!) and the best I could do was place one on each arm and since I have to hold her arm at heart level I can not do them at the same time as I need both hands to check her Bp the “old school” way. I did mine first and then smoothly loosened my cuff and went to hers that was ready to go and held that arm at heart level and pressed the button.Guesses? Systolic was out by 18 and Diastolic was out by 21. Enough said. Had it been out by 5 or 6 either way on either the Sytolic (top number) or the Diastolic (bottom number) I MIGHT have let it go. MIGHT. It wasn’t so I won.In the Garbage that “thing” went and 2 days later......insert the sound of trumpets......The Omron Bp Monitor arrived! I already knew that Omron was a fantastic brand as it is one that we have used in clinics and hospitals for a long time as an electric vitals tower is not always available depending on where you work and I have worked in several countries and in several areas of Nursing from teaching to Trauma and Teaching Trauma.I knew that there would NOT be ANY issue with “calibrating” the Omron so I never bothered to bring my kit with me. As soon as it arrived I zipped right over to her house and I felt like a kid at Christmas even though it was for her, I really wanted to get this out of the box and watch her face......why....well, what a lot of people don’t know is that Omron makes their Bp Monitors with what is called a “Easy Wrap Comfit Cuff”. If you DO know what it is, you now know why Omron may cost a couple bucks more but it is worth EVERY penny and it will last forever! So, I handed her the box (no Birthday fanfare as that is a few months off and this is a much NEEDED early B-day present) and watched as she pulled out the base and then......THE CUFF!!!! She stared at it for a minute and then it took another minute to figure out that there was only ONE CUFF and then ANOTHER MINUTE to figure out that there is supposed to be only ONE cuff! She’s an engineer so off her sweater flew and she just played with the cuff for about 10 minutes while she got the hang of it and found her “technique” to get the cuff on and off. She is not a big girl....maybe 125 soaking wet? And she even put the cuff on over a thing long sleeved T-shirt which irks me but that’s for y’all to google.Needless to say, her Bp was a little high from her Norm as she was quite excited at this novel toy and how easy it was to get on and off with it any pinching or anything that would cause her Bp to go up out of frustration. For the next few days I would get a call or a text starting out with “Did you that it can.....” and I just kept saying Yes even though I did NOT know it could connect to your iPhone or that it was Bluetooth at all actually but I was thrilled that SHE WAS THRILLED! AND that she would not have to change cuffs for her mother as she felt that her mom wasn’t comfortable doing that and anything can mess up your Bp including emotions, good or bad as well as talking about it while you are taking your Bp.So, all in all, it took me about 5 minutes to know which Bp cuff I was getting her but what is most important is that she actually takes it when she is supposed to as directed by her Doctor because it is “SUPER EASY!” And she loves technology so she is having a blast learning all of the “extras” that come with this model. There are a couple more that are above this one but this one is just great and it is absolutely accurate as I did check hers randomly on a weekend and the Omron was absolutely on the mark to my old school accurate sphygmomanometer and stethoscope.I know that was a long review with a big story but I think it is important that people are NOT afraid of “new” and this Comfit Cuff is “new” to most people and it is incredibly EASY for those that live alone and need to manage this all on their own. Far easier than the old ADC Cuff that pinched!! This just wraps around you and “grips” where it is supposed to and lining it up on the brachial is easy as pie. They have a fantastic warranty and guarantee but I doubt you will need either. I believe they have a help phone number as well. All in all, the best brand and machine out there for the Public. If you are worried at all that it is TOO “whizzy gadget” as my mother would say, don’t worry, it can be used all on it’s own without the iPhone and Bluetooth. Just the Diastolic and Systolic and you are good to go. A nice BIG SCREEN that is easy to read is a fabulous BONUS!

Great product.
Bought this after seeing this was what they used in the hospital. Arm cuff not wrist. Power adapter so don’t have to change batteries every time you use it like other ones. 2 lights that show red or green for both the top blood pressure number, and the bottom. 2 green lights mean you are normal. Bluetooth updates to your cell phone free App for 2 different people, and 2 different phones. Records and tracks everything. App has tie in for their own EKG device but no tie in for Apple Watch yet....

Not accurate
First impression it looks a good product, more premium look. But it didn't work well for me, it's not accurate. It gives me always lower reading, I can confirm this because I have another machine and sometimes I go to the pharmacy to confirm.Unfortunately it's too late to return the product. I don't recommend it.

Works As Advertised
Very happy with this purchase. My family doctor recommended I obtain a BP monitor to keep a daily log of BP readings for future annual medical visits. The monitor was easy to use, came with excellent instructions and most of all an AC adaptor in addition to the battery operation capability. The cuff works well and fit without issues. Interestingly, an ultrasound business I visited uses the exact same model! I would recommend this BP monitor to anyone looking for value for money.
