PirastroTonica 4/4 Violin A String - Aluminum/Synthetic - Medium Gauge

This string is good for the price. It has a slightly bright, warmer tone with a decent amount of layers to the sound. It sounded surprisingly "juicy" for the first 6 months of it on. I currently can't afford a new set of strings so this a string has been on my violin for nearly a year, and it's only been sounding slightly "bad" for a few weeks. It's remarkably stable for the first 6 months; sometimes I wouldn't have to tune it for a couple of weeks. Overall, it's a nice string on a budget and a very good option for students.

Good affordable strings. They sound fine on my violin which has a darker tone. If I was a professional I'd probably go back to Evah's or some other similar brand. But I just play at home so I don't need the best strings.

Sound is very nice

it was a great gift for my brother since he likes to play the violin. I will probably order some strings for myself.
