Review: Powerful and good quality - They have very good quality that can organise your books and they hold quite good enough of books. I have added around 10 medium books on each and they stand steady. Very easy to assemble as they have the needed screws. If you were doubting which to choose ( same as i did) don't hesitate to buy these as they are really good floating shelves
Review: Great - Amazing really very nice ✌🏻

## Features

- UNIQUE, INNOVATIVE DESIGN: Conceal floating bookshelves will transform the way you store and display your favorite books. By stacking them on to the sturdy metal L-shaped shelf, the shelf will become hidden behind the books – this allows them to appear as though they are floating on your wall
- SPACE-SAVING SOLUTION: Unlike conventional free-standing bookshelves, Conceal Floating Shelves allows you to utilize empty wall space. They are perfect for small spaces and awkward walls that are not quite large enough for a traditional wall bookshelf
- EASY TO INSTALL: Conceal Floating Bookshelves are easy to install and come with all necessary hardware for quick installation
- AWARD WINNING DESIGN: Designed by Miron Lior for Umbra, Conceal won the Umbra-Pratt Design Competition in 2006 and a portion of the proceeds from each sale is donated to the Pratt Institute
- SATISFACTION GUARANTEED OR YOUR MONEY BACK: Umbra is committed to the highest levels of quality and excellence and stand behind every product we make. We know you’re going to love your purchase but if you’re not completely thrilled for any reason (or even no reason at all), simply contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we’ll happily resolve the matter or issue a full refund

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do they work for a childs room?**
A: There is a built in mechanism that if these are installed in a room for someone that is under the age of 13, they go limp and are rendered useless. That is so your child can’t attempt to climb them like stairs to heaven. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

**Q: Time out.. how does the first book's bottom cover stay closed? Won't it hang?**
A: There's a small prong that keeps the book cover in place. So long as the book you pick is big enough the cover will stay up. I've had my shelf installed for over a month and it hasn't slipped once.

**Q: Dimensions not clear: What is the offset from the wall? Width of the lip? Width of the back-plate? Height of the back-plate?**
A: There is barely any offset from the wall (if you're asking about the thickness of the bracket itself), but as for the ledge the first book rests on, will depend on which model you are buying. There are heavier-duty brackets. I have both. The smaller one is great for mostly paperback books, and the ledge extends 4.75" from wall and 5.25" wide. Height of the backplate is 5.5". For larger bracket, ledge extends 6.25" from wall and 6.5" wide. Backplate is still 5.5".

**Q: Would a tv speaker be able to be used on these? Wanted to use as surround sound behind couch**
A: It could probably hold arounda 10 pound speaker
