I initially thought I had brewed this wrong because the coffee came out very light in color, which made it seem weak at first. I even assumed I had added too much water or let it brew too long. However, after using it consistently over several days, my opinion completely changed. Victor Allen’s Hazelnut Flavored Medium Roast is definitely on the lighter side in terms of strength, but that’s actually what makes it enjoyable. The hazelnut flavor is smooth, subtle, and not overpowering or artificial. It’s an easy, mellow cup that works really well for everyday drinking, especially if you prefer something less intense than a dark or bold roast. Over time, I started to appreciate the balance. It doesn’t hit you with a strong coffee punch, but instead offers a softer, more approachable flavor that you can drink multiple times a day without getting tired of it. I liked it enough that I ended up buying another box, which says a lot considering my first impression. If you’re expecting a very strong, rich, and bold hazelnut coffee, this might not be the best fit. But if you prefer a lighter, smoother, and more subtle flavored coffee, this is actually a great option. If you’re hesitating between a bold dark roast hazelnut coffee and this one, this is the better choice for a smoother, lighter, easy-to-drink daily cup. Overall, a pleasant surprise after the first few uses and a solid choice for anyone who enjoys mild flavored coffee.

I like this Hazelnut medium roast. It smells great while being produced and is just a nice little tweak in the "something different" department for your morning coffee. It is also packaged nicely and arrives in a timely manner. The cost is very competitive as well.
