Spinning out of the cataclysmic events of Dark Nights: Metal and the universe-defining No Justice, the core members of the Justice League--Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and more--are finally reunited. But standing in opposition to them? The Legion of Doom, led by Lex Luthor. And they're not alone. With them? The Ocean Masters of the Universe. Who are these new beings? And what secrets of the DCU do they hold? One of the most critically acclaimed authors of his generation continues his legendary run on DC's flagship title in Justice League Vol. 2! Collects Justice League #7-14. Review: Love the Story, but Get the Other Version! - I really regret that DC did it this way, but this collected volume overlaps tremendously with the collected Justice League/Auquaman: Drowned Earth release. The two releases are almost identical, with a couple exceptions. This one includes JL #8 and 9, and the collected JL/A: DE volume contains three Aquaman issues not included here. This means if you're a JL collector who wants issues 8-9 you'll have to buy this. Issue 8 is a Legion of Doom story (Lex recruiting Cheetah and Black Manta), and Issue 9 is a virtually stand-alone issue (Superman vs. the Coronavores) that is quite good. For my money I wish they'd included these two issues in JL: Vol. 1 and just released the complete Drowned Earth story in a single volume. However, DC does have a history of double dipping on some customers to get them to buy a TPB with stories they already have in other collections. If you're a DC customer you're already used to this practice. However, if you're here for the Drowned Earth story, which occupies 90 percent of this volume, do yourself a favor and just buy the collected Justice League/Aquaman: Drowned Earth volume, instead. If you're a completeist, than by all means buy both. However, you've been warned: if you own both volumes you aren't getting a lot of unique material in either. Review: scott snyder is the best - awesome

Not fun if you actually Love God's and goddess but key to the storyline
I wish DC wouldn't mess around and disrespect the gods and goddess, yes I am spiritual and religious, I still love superhero comics but it would be like writers rolling in and making superman act out of character all the time. The aquaman storyline crossover is incorporated into the main storyline fine, tho it is rather long in the book

The drawing threw me off but i got use to it after a while. The story is interesting if you were a fan of the JL
