You will need to remove the plastic film from each paddle before the game. This film keeps the rubber tacky and elastic before the first use, prevents stickiness.
Since the rubber surface is made from a natural material, sometimes it collects a little bit of dust in a dusty environment.
Please remember, the dust on the paddle surface won't affect your game.
This is not the paddles' or rubber defect. The dust will go away after several rounds of play.

After a literally couple of strikes, the paddles will be fine. Tackiness is needed to spin the ball while playing for more interesting and professional feel game.
