I needed a way to permit me to tuck the tv into a closet out of the way in the family room and this unit did the trick. I built a standoff secured to the inner wall and extended the anchor point about 15 inches out from the wall. The tv fits nicely with 4 inches of space between the closed closet doors and the tv. The tv is apx. 42 inches wide ( 43 inch tv) and the doors open 44 inches wide. The tv is apx. 42 inches from floor to center for perfect seated viewing within a 96 inch radius. It extends out apx. 42 inches from the stored position and rotates 180 degrees easily for position as needed. Quality of construction is heavy duty and excellent for many future years of service. The RCA plugs from the back of the tv to my old DVD/VHS player were a tight fit with the plugs located slightly off center of the back of the tv. The tv position was adjustable enough to just barely permit the RCA plugs to fit into place. But it all worked out. The finished installation was clean and very functional. Our house was built in early 2000's when no one expected tvs to be bigger than 50 inches. We wanted very much to get a bigger TV but the niche was always stopping us. After doing much research, we discovered this mount. We needed a strong and sturdy arm that would need to be extended somewhat throughout its life. The arm on this mount is solid! The new TV is 75 inches and weighs about 65lbs. The hardware was no cheap junky screws. My husband is not a handyman, contractor, or someone who does this stuff on a regular basis but a office worker. Instructions were written well and he was able to accomplish this task in about a hour. I wish we would have found this monitor sooner. Having a bigger newer TV is awesome!

Easy install and very sturdy

Heavy duty to hold a very large TV. I trust it to hold my large tv.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mount to anyone in the market with a large TV who wants the flexibility to pull a TV out from your media wall to access cables, connections, etc. The mount is incredibly sturdy and does not buckle. I did add a set of toggle bolts to further secure the unit….but that’s just me. The included bolts are beefy and will definitely handle the load.Plenty of reach with this mount, allowing me to extend and turn my TV 75 degrees with ease to access the TV rear…..and it more than adequately supports my 85” Samsung with no sag at its full extension.I purchased a similar item from a BigBox store and was highly disappointed. The mount seemed flimsy, did not extend out enough to service the rear of my TV. With a partial extension , the TV sagged and I felt as thought it would full at full extension.

Easy to assemble, mount and has good mobility for TV. Good price for product.
