Sequential OB-6 - Syntezator analogowy polifoniczny

This was a college graduation gift for my grandson who achieved an Audio Production Degree and is delighted with it. He uses it non-stop. Sam Ash was a delight to do business with as well.

I've been an electronic music composer for over 30 years and lately have been getting back into good old-fashioned analog synths. I've always been partial to the Oberheim sound, but had a hard time justifying the price of a 30 year old OBXa or OB8 which could break down at any time and be very costly and time-consuming to repair. Along came the OB6 and an answer to my Oberheim prayers. This thing sounds like an Oberheim alright! Absolutely beautiful! The build is fantastic and the synth is a joy to look at in the studio. My only complaint, along with many others, is that the synth only has a 4 octave keyboard...really should have had 5. Oh well, luckily there is MIDI. 4 octaves aside, great job Dave & Tom! The OB6 will be in my studio for a very long time and be passed down to my son decades from now. :)
