Thermal Tea Glass with Filter 14oz

High quality
I bought one of these directly from Libre at a tea festival and loved it. Ended up dropping it and repurchased here. The cup is very solidly made, inside is glass, outside is plastic. Doesn't not get hot or cold outside, just as it shouldn't (and too many do).The mesh section has holes large enough that fluids passes easily when using it with the tea on either side. I've used other similar ones where the mesh was too fine and you just couldn't really pour. This one works great.Am very pleased with this product, hence buying another one. The only negatives or things to watch out for are:1). Make sure to close it snug as that can take a bit of a double-check with it, otherwise it'll drip or dribble when turned or upside down at all.2). When opening it by taking both top sections off don't remove completely or the fluid from the tea will dribble out some more in a fair amount once it's tipped at all. It doesn't fully drain when sitting upright. So unscrew, lift, tilt it then over the open cup to let that bit of water pour out instead of making a mess. Understandably when using very hot water, this is good to know.3). If using boiling water for the tea one is making, don't seal the top right away. Give it a moment or three for the steam/heat to lessen. Otherwise the vaccuum that forms as the tea cools locks this thing up so tight you and three strong helpers can't get it open lol. I had multiple people on the subway trying for me one day.So there's really no negative with this product except those bits of "know when using". This is my very favorite travel brewing cup.

only received one!!!
1 out of 5 starsHorrible experience. They advertise that they will give you six tumbers but they only send one. I only received 1 tumbler and should have received 6. This is not a gift pak, this is a waste of time and money. The product is good and we have bought it elsewhere.

Beautiful, functional, needs a few tweaks
I'm a loose leaf tea junkie and have all sorts of tea brewing and drinking paraphernalia, from mesh tea balls and disposable DIY tea bags/filters, to tea presses, one-cup tea baskets and pots with built in strainers. This is by far my favorite item for the following reasons:- Easy to clean- Easy to pack- Fits into my car's and outdoor folding chair's cup holder (I take it to my son's cold morning soccer games too!)- Looks attractive (especially with the whole star anise pod floating in my favorite tea blend)- Keeps my tea warm- Big enough for a whole morning's worth of tea at my desk- Durable (I dropped it hard on the first day onto the wood laminate floor at work and the inner glass wall stayed intact)- Comfortable to hold temperature-wise even when the contents are piping hot- Love the glass interior--no metallic taste transfer, no reactive or toxic plasticsThings I would improve:- I wish it had an easy flip-top or push-button lid that I could open with one hand while driving- Along with the flip top lid, some type of smaller opening that prevents you from dumping a huge mouthful on your face while driving (I know, I should give up drinking and driving!)- As mentioned above, I dropped it on the day I received it and although the glass stayed intact, it dinged the bottom metal casing so that it would not sit flat, but nothing that a little tap of the hammer couldn't fix- Mesh filter could be a little finer--I drink mostly red/rooisbos tea and the leaves are fine like needles and a few small ones escape while I'm drinking. Albeit barely noticeable, it would be nice to have a tighter mesh like the type that is used on a tea ball- There is some heat transfer to the exterior as the outside plastic does get a little warm but it stays hot long enough to drink leisurely- Have to be careful screwing the lid on as it's easy to cross-thread and cause leaks. I always twist the lid in the opposite (opening) direction to ensure that it's all the way aligned, then I tighten it--this seems to prevent leakageAll that being said, this is still my favorite way to brew and drink my tea. I haven't used any of my drawerful of other tea tackle since I have owned my Libre bottle.

Works OK but not very quality
Rubber seals stained from tea, Aluminum silver bottom came off (bad glue?) Lid does not stay on for a perfect seal (it leaks) and in general it just fell apart awful fast. I would think that for a bottle as expensive as this it would last longer without things literally falling off. It didn't seal right so you had to hold/ pack/ carry the thing upright or liquid would spill out.

Happy
I use this everyday for fresh green tea. Keeps it warm long enough for me to have two cups. Only issue is when you first pour the hot water in don't turn it over straight away. Give it a few seconds, then open and close it again to allow the steam to get out otherwise it will leak.

Best tea to go
I love this tea carafe! It's my favorite and I've tried many. I take it everywhere all the time. You don't have to take out any parts which I like. I drink allot of herbal, white, and green teas which work well to not have to take the leaves out. Black tea works too, but I'm carful how much I put in because it gets pretty strong at the end, but then I just add more boiling water.(some green gets strong too) I've occasional put already brewed coffee in this as well because it's a great travel mug. I like the larger version because it holds more, but some people might find it too big to hold if they have smaller hands. With the lid on it stays hot for hours. I usually put my tea in and screw on the strainer lid then pour in the boiling water. There's no mess ever that way! Just be careful to let it cool down a bit before sipping.

Seal has failed in only two months.
I contacted the seller, and they responded within 24 hours, refunding me the purchase. I bought two other brands at the same time and am going to try them out rather than order another of this model._________________________________________________________Two months in, approximately, and the exterior seal has failed. I haven't dropped it and have hand washed the container after every use. I will be contacting the seller and manufacturer for a refund or replacement._______________________________________________________________________________I love this container. It replaces another I had for about five years that was all glass and metal...and I finally dropped and broke. While I'm not thrilled about the plastic, after shattering my first tea bottle, I can now appreciate the plastic exterior.I love loose tea and I like it STRONG - it steeps until I've drunk the last bit of liquid! The screen is very effective at keeping bits and pieces through (unlike every tea steeper I've purchased for my old fashioned mugs!)You can use bagged tea or loose and put it on top of the screen, add the lid and invert for however long you want the tea to steep. Then you flip it over, open it and dump out your tea bits or bag and sip away. You do have to be very careful that nothing, no bits get into the seal or groove, because that stops the bottle from sealing and you could end up a wee bit burned. I only made that mistake once!I can easily recommend this.

BEWARE OF NB HEALTHCARE PRODUCTS SOLD IN AMAZON MARKETPLACE
This was purchased from NB Healthcare (Newbridge Healthcare) and the item arrived faulty. It leaked with COLD water in it. The thread was faulty and because I did not inform them within 14 days, they will not replace the item.I have appealed this decision with Amazon and am looking into further legal action.I have since contacted Libre and they have offered to send a new item. Outstanding service from Libre, shame on NB Healthcare and Amazon!
