Something over looked
I haven’t used these yet. But I did discover something that I think some of the other reviewers might have over looked. There is an Allen set screw in the side of the tool and a guide in the splitter that if you screw it in it will keep the splitter from turning. A couple of the sizes were screwed in enough to keep the splitter from turning but the size that I first looked at did turn and I noticed the set screw and set the the splitter and now it doesn’t turn. Just heads up.

Great kit
Kit is complete and organized in its box. One out of the three splitters has a problem. I sent my first one I ordered back because of this. The second one has the same issue so that’s why 4 stars. The wedge that presses against the nut spins . It is not supposed too . Might try to fix it with a roll pin. Hope this helps someone.

Didn't last the first use.
On the surface they look and feel decent. It's not until you put a load on them you start to notice the problem. The metals used are weak like they haven't been heat treated. I used the 2 mid sized ones and both failed. On one the threaded deformed making it difficult to turn. On the other the set screw that keeps the anvil in line sheared off allowing it to rotate. I'm afraid to use the other two for more than paperweights.

Only used 1 so far but did the job so 4 stars for that.

Value is there, quality is lacking
These weren’t able to break my exhaust bolts fully.There is a set screw used to keep the chisel part from rotating inside the tool, which broke after its first use. I’m not using a powerful impact, just a ryobi 18v cordless one on the second setting. This thing mangled itself out of shape instantly. Because the set screw was broken, the chisel rotates as it eats into the nut, causing the nut to just mangle, and wouldn’t eat away At the flanged part of the nut, no matter how I tried.Giving it 3 stars bc for all 4 you get good value, but the tools are mid quality at best and couldn’t hold up to the rusty northwast exhaust nuts. I managed to finish the job by buying a chisel and mallet.

Will perform if used correctly
Good value for the money. When using the tool it's really important to stabilize the body of the nut splitter with an appropriately sized crescent wrench. This will allow you to use equal opposing force to drive the blade into the nut without the twisting or shearing action that will break the set pin. See photo. Works like a champ every time.
