Are there two (2) wiper blades in this one package, if so, what are their sizes?

Yes, both blades arrived in the same box. 18" & 26" - they work great on a 2016 A3

Will this fit my 2017 vw golf gti with no adapters necessary?

These snapped right on my 2017 Golf Sportwagen. The shorter (passenger) blade went on with no issues at all. Had to try the longer blade 4-5 times but finally it slid in and locked. Not sure what the issue was, maybe a small manufacturing burr in the ABS. These are definitely the correct blades for a 2017 VW Golf MK VII

does it fit my 2016 VW Golf R?

These are not the correct wiper blades for your 16 VW Golf R. Only the front left side is currently listed on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007RA2YY6 Please feel free to call or email us anytime you have any questions or if you need anything else. Thank you BMA Auto Parts 888-262-3911
