Q: Will the color come out even if i don't bleach my hair?

I used Psychadelic Sunset (bright orange) on my almost white, unbleached hair. I don't know if all of the Manic Panic dyes have the same staying power. I applied it to clean, dry hair in a couple places. After leaving this on my hair for about 30 minutes, the color lasted weeks. It's been about 4 weeks now, and I still see it. The initial intensity was pretty bright, and it looks pretty as it fades. Based on people's comments, I expected all of the color to fade in 3 to 4 shampoos. Still going!

Q: Has anyone used this on black hair to give it a blue tint effect ?

yes, my daughter has black hair and it was wonderful after the treatment

Q: does it turn green with blonde hair

I have color-treated red hair with some sun and chlorine bleaching. It turned my hair blue. If you have natural blonde hair, I'm pretty sure it will still turn your hair blue. but probably it won't last more than a week or two. If you have processed blonde hair, i'm also pretty sure it will work and be blue. Good luck!

Q: How well does it cover old color? My hais is pink/light blue/purple very faded but some pigment left.

I've had a lot of luck with using manic panic over old faded color to get multi-toned dimension, you just have to be careful of color combinations. If you use it over opposite colors, it will give you a gross brown color. For this color, I found that it's not a true blue and leans more towards a purplish blue. Over pink or purple you should have no problems beyond maybe having a gradient of purple. If you have any hint of green or yellow in your hair, I would highly recommend using the blue moon color as it's a true blue with no red pigment.
