All had a similar texture but this had that burst of flavor you want it to have to bring out the flavor in your recipes. We had a hard time finding this ingredient this year for our annual preparation of our family recipe of German stollen(made every year for generations) So we ordered 4 kinds not knowing if any would arrive on time.
