I want to prevent them from coming in as well.** A: I just got 2 cans delivered today for under 12$ from here. We have found multiple baby & adult brown recluse & a few wolf spiders outside right on our front door/porch area. We sprayed today and came home to find 1 suffering/dying from it being sprayed on everything hours before. We noticed no others anywhere. We also found a dead one right inside our door on a toy that got sprayed. I believe this works with direct contact to it, it does also help prevent them from coming back, but we also bought some ortho spray in a gallon which we have sprayed on top of it and around our home and yard. We have also used peppermint, coconut oil & vinegar mixture around the inside of our home and in our windows to help keep them out. As a person who will scream & have a heart attack over a spider even a spider the size of a penny so far the methods I am using is keeping my heart off the monitors! Hoping this continues to keep them away! **Q: What are the active ingredients?** A: The active ingredients are Pyrethrins and Deltamethrin. **Q: What does it smell like?** A: It definitely has a very potent smell so whoever says it doesn’t is crazy lol I wear a mask or fold a towel several times or a shirt and cover my nose and mouth cause it is that strong I wouldn’t recommend just sitting in the room after spraying the product I would do it in waves until the room is completely sprayed down ( spray one section of the room leave for 30 mins let dry then com back and spray another section) and always wear a mask and eye protection just cause it is like misty I’ve had it come in contact with my skin I didn’t spray it directly on my skin but some of the product was dripping down can and I grabbed it I finished spraying my room then went up stairs and washed my hands three times with warm water it didn’t burn or cause a allergic reaction but it was just for safety reason just from the smell how strong it is it’s a natural instinct to just wash your hands I also recommend changing clothes after maybe even shower if you let a decent amount of mist get on you just to be safe as well it’s a strong chemical my first time using it I sprayed some cracks and windows and I didn’t wear a ask just eye protection and and once the smell kicked in I’m like man this is strong I should probably wear a mask so your natural instincts should kick in take it as a warning I felt if I would of stayed and sprayed the area any longer I would get sick or feel dizzy and nauseous and faint hope this helps!!! One more thing when spraying make sure your items and objects are out the way as stated it’s a mist product so move it far enough so it doesn’t get on anything it’s not air wick or frebreeze lol just saying **Q: can you spray this spider killer spray where you hav pets inside** A: This product uses pyrethrins/pyrethroids which are particularly toxic to cats because cats lack the ability to metabolize pyrethrin/pyrethroid compounds. The compounds are even more toxic to fish. So if you have cats or fish, I would not recommend using these in your home.
