Its sorta amber in color but definitely goes on clear. **Q: is this product pet safe?** A: Though this product is safe for human use when used following the manufacturer's directions, there is no mention on this product for animal use. I would recommend consulting with a licensed veterinarian to find a product designed specifically for animal use. **Q: Is this good for bedsores?** A: Bedsores are extremely serious as they can open and spread like wildfire. The amazon community isn't qualified to handle such a serious issue. But the diaper rash version was $1.11/oz and the first aid version was $2.16/oz.
