Kids Learn Bundle: Math and Spelling - Grades 2 to 5

Bought as an easter basket gift for my 7 year old. He loves it. This game combines fun games and education, which I love. Plus I feel better about him playing his video games while on long trips if he is learning while doing it!

Three words... Buy something else. Or maybe these 3... This game sucks. If a kid is advanced enough to read the instructions given, they do not need the spelling lessons. Includes lots of sub sections and mini games, which might be fun, but all but one math game are locked when you get it and it does not say how to unlock sections. Beating the one you can play unlocks nothing. Elementary learning with adult level instruction and frustrating play. My son was extremely disappointed. It was like the description, no fault of the seller here, just a crappy game. Educational DS games are few, but trust me, avoid this one. Any free cell phone app these days is far better than this. Really bad. Did I mention that it sucks? Want one? Please, take mine for free.... Just don't return it to me!

As a Grandmother I was pleased with it's content. I wish I could tell you that it will be used daily but as the 'Grandson lives far from me I won't know for awhile/

I had ordered two DS for my two grandchildren that are the same age. When my order came there was only 1 DS with no explanation. When I emailed them about it they just said "sorry" - we will credit your account. That was NOT what I wanted, I wanted the extra DS that was missing. It now was a week before Christmas so in order to get another one I would have to pay more postage than the DS cost. I thought that should be the "sorry" from the company. I did email back, but no reply.I don't think I would ever order from this company again.

My nine year old son plays for a long time and the four year old is intrigued as well. I only wish there were more learning games.

My son isn't that into it but will play it. Has activities that he can do and teach him new things.. One funny thing is they spell practice wrong in the book that comes with it.. A learning game that misspells practice hmmm.

Due to the age range your child can easily select activities that quickly go over their head. Just let them know the product-designed grade range and that they should start with the easy settings before trying the more difficult ones. Children in K should be able to complete the easier activities and should stay challenged for a few years in elementary school.
