Difficult to connect with IP address
Installing is not user friendly. I had to ask assistance from my IT friend for installing. Unable to connect initially with linksky IP address.

BEWARE GREY IMPORT FROM USA
Product is ok but these are grey imports from the USA market and come with the US adaptor so you need a socket adaptor to make it work.

Not So Smart....and unreliable.
NOT so smart or easy to set up. The directions were not easy to follow in the box and I am not a complete illiterate when setting up computer equipment. I ended up calling Linksys and paying for the 6 month tech support rather than the two weeks.I have had the product for 1 month and had 2 tech calls and 3 drops in wifi service already. It keeps losing the IP address among being difficult to set up. I spent 2 hours the first phone call with tech support, 1.25 hours with tech support the second time, and fixed it myself the third time about .5 hours (day of this review) and am considering a new router for the future after spending $90 between the router on Amazon and the $40 of tech support if this keeps up. I had an N300 Linksys at home before this that worked great and use Linksys at work and have not had this problem. I recommend finding another product. On a positive It does work well when it works.

Tech support told me it was defective and to return it.
I have heard this is one of the best routers available. SO I purchased. My IT expert nephew actually selected it for me. I couldn't get it to work (or tell if it was working). SO I called their tech support. My only issue with it was that it is only open Monday thru Friday 9-5. I'm a bit spoiled, I guess with tech support 24-7. But Kevin was very helpful and spend a LONG time on the phone with me trying multiple ways to get the router to connect and do its thing. But he never could get it connected and advised me to return it. So I did, and considered buying another one but didn't want to face any hassle if I couldn't get another one to work. Meanwhile CenturyLink has come up with its own router and I should receive one from them tomorrow. Bottom Line: This is said to be a great router and the tech support was very dedicated to helping me and at least admitted a problem and advised me to return it.
