**Q: What is the measurement of the folder itself? And how much does the metal stick out on each side?**
A: Hi! The actual body of the folder measures 11 5/8"W by 9 1/8"H. The length of the rails are 12 3/4". The rails extend by a little over 1/2" on each side (9/16").

**Q: I want to know the size for legal folder.  I measured the width of the drawer rail.  It appears to be between 36 to 38 cm (14.17 in to 14.96).  Thx.**
A: I measured mine and the folder itself is 14-3/4" from side to side.  Including the hanger tabs, it is 15-3/4".  Depth is 9"

They’re file folders. I put paper in them, they hang in the filing cabinet, and so far none of the paperwork has escaped. They feel sturdy, slide nicely, and the tabs are useful for pretending I’m significantly more organized than I actually am. Hard to ask much more from a folder. 5/5, excellent paper containment technology.
