Bollywood movies are so entertaining!!!!. I saw the song Kambakkht on YouTube and I had to know what they were singing about and why they were angry at each other, so I decided to rent it. Now I love it.!! If you appreciate hindi films, you would like this movie.!!

One word,I love this movie.

Hard to watch beginning 3/4 of the movie actually; just cold-hearted and ego-angry. But I guess it was part of the story and chemistry. Usually a 'bitch' will not be so overt like that; especially California style; it's more behind the back moves. Guess I actually preferred her feisty anger to that however. Anyway, I realized I'd seen it before. I like Akshay and Kareena a lot and even rented this since was feeling to watch an Akshay movie that wasn't a violent one. Being a story about Indians in the USA took a lot away from the charm of Bollywood movies these two often star in and to me that didn't pan out well. i ended up fast forwarding toward the end when her ego finally broke and some heart came into the movie. Three stars for the actors and a story of supposed discovery of the trauma that made her so cold and helped transform her in the end, and him as well, from a player into someone who could love..

The movie is really good BUT it was scratched...that was very disappointing. I would like another one to replace this scratched up one.

I'm an American who loves Bollywood movies and wanted to give this US-based film a shot, but I could not make it through. Misogyny, sexism, racism galore. There's a musical number about assault and harassing a woman, and a bit (in the customs scene at LAX) that manages to be racist and sexist and rapey and homophobic all at once. Kumar and Kapoor are better than this. It's as though Bollywood, usually so conservative it's almost painful, doesn't know how to act once it attempts to loosen up.

Regret to drop in price after purchase this dvd but anyway Blue Ray DVD has its own meaning

Ein wunderbarer Film, in dem zwei Kratzbürsten aneinander geraten. Mann vs. Frau - Liebe vs. Hass lautet das Motto des Films.Interessante Figuren, Humor, der ein oder andere Hollywoodstar, Drama und Romantik - alles was zu einem guten Bollywoodfilm eben dazugehört... ach ja und das ewige Om Mangalam kriegt man irgendwann auch nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Die Musik ist toll - von schwungvollen Tanzeinlagen bis hin zu einer verträumten Balade ist alles dabei.Kareena Kapoor und Akshay Kumar spielen wunderbar und die Chemie stimmt einfach. Ein moderner Bollywoodfilm, der durchaus zu überzeugen weiß - auch ohne Sari und romantische Szenen in der Schweiz.

Set in Hollywood, it's a swirling fiasco revolving round the reluctant pairing of a promiscuous stuntman with a snooty supermodel. The humour is just raucous & non-stop. The style is visually stunning with lavish sets & contrasting colours. The acting is 1st rate. You'll love it if you are modern with an open sense of humour. In this respect it broke new ground for Bollywood, but unfortunately got a bad reception from people who lag behind the times.Basically, don't watch it with your grandparents.
