Visually it looks lovely, but when attempting to take the lid off I couldn't at first- it was very tight! That said, it only took about 5 ' pull offs' to loosen it to the degree that it became suitable and pleasurable to use. At least the tightness ensures you can attach the lid to the end securely, I suppose. It's a good looking pen. It's not a dainty ' feminine' pen, in my mind but robust and sturdy!

The pen is nice but drinks ink and is quite scratchy on paper
