Q: Does this come with a lid. It states it in the bullit points, but don't see it in the picture.

No it does not come with a lid. Great cooking pan, but be careful not to burn things in it, that makes it hard to clean.

Q: Would you cook a steak or chops in a convection over with this pan not by broiling but by convection baking? Rather than a broiler pan?

I would and have. I brown both sides using the stove (2 minutes each side) and then move to the convection oven at 350 for about 6 minutes for rare steaks a little more for chops.

Q: Are these safe to use with a gas cooktop?

I don’t know why not. I don’t cook with gas but I assume it would be fine.

Q: Does the food finish from the pan with nice grill marks?

The grill marks look just like you took the item right off of the grill. The clean up is a no brained. Easy,beady.
