Makes the Possibility of Theft Disappear
Wow....this thing brings the security of a typical trailer closure to an entirely different level. Out here in east Tennessee it seems trailers and their contents are a constant target. There must be folks that just travel the roads looking for unattended trailers at jobsites and motels. I've learned exposed padlocks are zero protection from this folks. So many stories here about how quickly hammer heads pop that off and strip the inside of the trailer. I ordered this thing about 6 weeks ago because I had to upgrade my protection. I was a bit worried about it being a gimmick with a name like Snatch Latch.....but my goodness this thing is built like a tank. Thick steel that I doubt would be corrupted by anything less than a blow torch. Nothing to figure out about using it....just pop it on and Bam....the threat of theft went away. Impressive product. Highly recommend.

Good product
Very good product. Gives you piece of mind of security. Purchased in November of 2012. Powder coat didn't last more than 2 months outdoor on my trailer. It's faded badly as of January 2013. Still works as described. I will have to repaint it.

More secure
I bought this prevent my regular lock from getting cut with bolt cutters. It’s well built and fit my trailer door perfectly.

SAVED ME $30,000
Thieves cut the lock off one side of the trailer and bailed after they couldn’t get through the snatch latch. Instead they turned their attention to another trailer on site which they successfully robbed. $30k worth of musical equipment was in our trailer. BUY THIS.

Hard to understand how to put a lock inside
You have to use a lock long enough to lock so it kinda defeats the purpose

this thing is a tank
thieves will have to pass you by if this is installed.

Great quality and virtually impossible to compromise
I installed the latch on my 20 foot shipping container and it works great. It's important to purchase the lock size they recommend. I went with a master lock with steel hardened shank that would be hard to cut if at all with bolt cutters. Best part is it's virtually impossible to even get bolt cutters up inside the latch to cut the lock. Same with grinders. It would take a blow torch to cut the snatch latch off and the lock. Very good product and very durable. I highly recommend this latch to anyone who needs to lock up their containers or trailers. Mine is on my ranch and I don't live there fulltime so it's nice to feel secure knowing my latch is in place.
