Definitely helps balance gimbals.
Itโs solid and works well with my rs4 and rs4 mini rig.

Solid Counterweight Solution
Great Counterweights at a good value. The mount feels secure to the camera and I never feel like itโs going to slip off. The weights can be used separately if you have a cage with 1/4 20 mounting points your camera rig. Great Value.

Works great with RS2
Using it to balance a heavy Blackmagic 6K G2 setup. Works great. Would recommend to anyone using Ronin gimbals and heavy setups.

Has helped me balance smartphones on small gimbals
When I connect a USB-C microphone to my smartphone, it was difficult to balance the setup on a small gimbal. This plate with holes in various locations, allows me to attach weights and balance the rig easily.

Good quality but didnโt work for my rig
The parts are good quality but unfortunately they did not work with my Moza Air 2 & BMPCC4k. The problem lies more with the gimbal than the weights. The Mozaโs QR plate is too close to the roll axis arm so the weights hinder your ability to tilt. These weights maybe better for a Crane 3 or another gimbal where the roll arm isnโt so close to the QR plate. I gave 3 stars for good quality, but incompatibility.

I bought this then I got a 200gram weight that also worked well with this set up. Definitely pick up if your using a RS2/3 with a big camera.
