**Q: How can it fit a 49'' driver if it's only 48 ''?**
A: Remove the driver head which usually adds 1.0" - 1.5" to length of the shaft. :-))

**Q: Will this case fit in a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid?**
A: Cant say about a Fusion but I did manage to squeeze a Ford Explorer in for a trip to India. Hope this helps.

**Q: What are the outside dimensions?  For Allegiant airlines it has to be 80" or less**

I shipped mine from my local FedEx store 3 days ahead of time, and it was only $30 or so. I think Allegiant charges $45 for checked bags or something.
