my horses like to clean up their grain from the ground after eating. I use this product for a long time on a regular basis to avoid sand colic I would recommend.

My horse eats EVERYTHING. I mean, not a blade of grass hay will be left ANYWHERE in his stall by the end of day. So ofc he also picks up dirt, and we have sandy soil. I read about sand blockage and then saw this product had really good ratings so decided to give it a try. There's not a strong smell and I mixed it in with my horses daily vitamin and pellet mixture. He ate it all. :) The next day there was a noticeable increase (and extra work) mucking out his stall the next day. We're on day 2 right now so we'll see how the rest of the treatment goes! ———- My update: We finished the course of treatment and he’s doing well. I tried giving him the pellets without his grain and they were tasty enough that he ate them with no fuss. Several people at my stables also swear by this product and think that it helps prevent colic too. We’ll keep giving it to them quarterly.
