I read the review that this item is defective and always thought there's an exception. An item charging at thirty plus dollar so much more expensive than their competitor should have some level of quality in it ? that runs in my mind but i am shocked with this quality. The spring attached to the handle come loose and always cut my wife hand. When I look at how this item is build, i'm shocked the level of quality in this item. Please AMAZON, do kindly look into it and please remove this item from your product list.I intentionally find something more expensive expecting better quality but it doesnt turn out this way.

Used it once a week or once a month, first got rusted in the net screw than broke down. 4 month old… not a good product

Broke after being used twice. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

Very low Quilty build, easily fall apart

The media could not be loaded.  With just a pull of the handle on the side, I'm able to sift all of my dry ingredients with no problems. I've taken up a new hobby and a lot of recipes require you to sift a lot. This sifter has been working like a dream. I did have an old one and the crank always got stuck. The lever on this has yet to get stuck, ever. When it comes to cleaning, I do hand wash this and it's extremely easy. With some dry ingredients that get stuck on the side, I do let it soak in hot soapy water. Even with soaking or leaving in a wet sink, no rust at all.
