Can anyone tell me if 18/10 is stamped anywhere on the pot?** A: No, 18-10 is not stamped on that pot nor on any of the other Emeril stainless cookware we own. We do certainly like how it performs in the kitchen. **Q: Re the 3-quart Pro-Clad: Is the handle meant to stay cool or will it heat up enough to burn under certain circumstances? Thanks.** A: Amazingly, all the handles on the saucepans stay cool! **Q: is this induction stove top compatable** A: The PRO-CLAD Tri-Ply pans are induction compatible. I have not yet purchased my induction cooktop, but I checked all the pots and pans with a magnet and they are all magnetic. I have heard that some of the standard Emerilware (You can recognize it because it has a seam where a disk is "sandwiched" on the bottom) are non-magnetic. **Q: I like the strainer option on the cover but since it has a spout and the cover doesn't seal, does it still boil water efficiently?** A: Yes, I have another version of the type of pan and it boils just as fast. The original 1 qt saucepan was very heavy and didn't have pour spouts. It looked just like the picture. What I got was a lighter weight version with pour spouts. I wanted the original to replace one my husband accidently ruined.
