I live in an older brownstone and have incredibly drafty windows/ doorways. Winters have always been the WORST!!! I’ve shoved sponge strips, various tapes, added plastic covering to windows but the drafts ALWAYS made their way through. I knew what I wanted but couldn’t picture how it’s be created/ sold. Then, I came across this GENIUS IDEA!!! I immediately purchased a roll. This unassuming roll completely sealed up ALL areas where I applied it. I will be purchasing again for other air leaks.

Now that winter is essentially over, I can review this. I was super surprised how effective this weatherstripping was on the bottom of a door to the outside of my house. This door has a gap under it that allowed cold air to blow in from the outside. It's in the kitchen right next to the table where I sit so I feel the cold air on my feet. I cleaned the bottom of the door with alcohol and then cut the strip to length. After carefully removing the backing, I aligned it with the floor and stuck it to the back of the door. It did a great job keeping the cold air from coming in and sealed the gap well. Now I am just as interested in seeing if it keeps the lizards out this summer that my cat likes to chase around the inside of the house. Well worth the purchase.

Was looking for something to help fill the gap of two steel doors, vertically. I tried insulation strips but each time the door opened, the strip would buckle and eventually come apart. This is nice because it's not going in between the doors but rather on the front of the door blocking the thin gap. I should have purchased the black one because with the clear one, you can still see the gap but there is no longer a draft coming in.

I used this to seal the gap between the 2 sliders because I installed a pet door which left a one inch gap. It sealed perfectly and stuck well after cleaning the door edge with alcohol and warming the door before applying. I highly recommend this product.

I was skeptical about this but wanted to try it. It's GREAT, keeps all the cold air in the basement, no more cold air under or around the door into my kitchen! I bought this last year and it is still up and working great!
