At first I was very pleased with them, and was hoping to get a year's use, as they would pay for themselves compared to the cost of the gas lighters.At the end of October---two months later---one is still working and the other two are dead, though still accepting a charge. It arrived on time, and pre-charged. I did charge it to full before using, and it's been over a week with no need to plug it back in. If you are used to flame lighters, it will take a little getting used to; you have to shove the end of your cig right into the arc rather than holding it over the top as you do with a flame. The plus is that anything you put into that arc is instantly on fire--so be a bit careful :)It is very pretty, also very solid--heavy but not too heavy.
