Is this device compatible with Linux kernel 5.1?

Are you able to copy and paste using this? And if so, is it cumbersome?

When you use the right button, you can call up the command of the copy and paste. After you make your selection, you can use the touchpad to confirm the action. If you use the touchpad to control the computer often, it should be an easy process for you.

need to switch left/right buttons on linux. do you have tool for that? or can it be programmed via windows then move to linux.

You may use the setting on the computer and find the mouse option there. From there, you may switch the primary mouse button to the right or left button.
