these thing work.
Cut fast no problems. Drilled pilot hole to hold the cutter. I used them on an old Eastwood cutter mandrel. Fit fine.

A cut above.
Using to cut spot welds for some sheet metal replacements on a 69 Chevelle restoration I’m doing. These work good some netter than other. Meaning there’s 3 in a pack each double sided. Well some I can get 10 or 12 spot welds drilled off before having to either turn the cutter around or swap out completely. Others will yield 3 or 4. But it’s getting it done.

Maybe a bad one? ... Anybody's guess.
I found the Blair (BLR13224) 3/8 in. Double End Spotweld Cutters to be very aggressive. The first one bit in, snapped one of the four teeth right off. I have no clue what broke it. The second one worked for a minute or so and then did the same. So far the third one is going and cut and removed about two dozen spot welds, but is noticeably becoming worn down. The initial aggressiveness has worn off.For the money... I have found better spot weld bits and will most likely not reorder these as they definitely don't last as I expected. Sorry, but facts are facts. I'm not that impressed. As I mentioned in the review under "Blair (BLR13224) 3/8 in. Double End Spotweld Cutter in Blister Pack", the bits were extremely difficult to remove remove from the #13216 Arbor/Retractable Pilot threaded shaft. I had to resort to putting the arbor into a vice, clamping it down, TIGHT, and removing the bit with a pair of vice grips. The threads are common right handed threads so there should be no doubt one would remove the bit in a left handed motion. Every time I removed a bit, same thing. This is caused by the right handed direction the bit turns when removing spot welds. Understandable, but they really become torqued in place.Sorry for the negative review, but Facts are Facts! When they cut, they cut. But why make this kind of work more difficult than it needs to be. At the cost??? Well, I'll let you be the judge.

Body work friendly.
Cuts through Ford spot welds. A great tool to have in your tool box if you are doing body work. Recomend getting the cutting lube and a small brush to clean and lube as you go. Makes your bits last longer.

Good price for bit geads
This is a great product but unfortunately I had to send it back as it was not advertised what size cutter this fits. It was to small for my Blair 3/8 bit.

Worked nicely
I was drilling out quite a few spot welds and these did the trick nicely. Had to get the hang of keeping the cutter perpendicular to the surface or you will break teeth. All in all a very good product. Only issue is that the 3/8" hole is a little large for rewelding panels back on. A slightly smaller diameter would have worked better.

Nice cutting bits BUT...
My cutting bit became SOO tight on the arbor that I was unable to loosen it. I worked on it for at least 90 minutes to no avail. I called Blair and had to leave a voicemail on Monday 6 June 2011. I still havent received a return call as of Tuesday, 7 June 2011 1800hrs Dallas time. What it boils down to is that it's a great tool. It's FAULT is in the design of being able to remove the cutting bit.I even purchased the 3 pack of replacement of cutting bits but am unable to use them....
