I use the units mounted to my fence to light the way to my trash cans and to the rear of my rv. No flashlight needed for a short walk by.

Installed on my beach cruiser works to protect against road debris no flats now.

Haven't ran bike i thorney weeds. I won't do that anymore. I trust the tubes. Ultra heavy duty. Also when you buy these tubes buy the inner rubber wheel liners. That's also added protection. Yes they are just a bit heavier, but who's racing? I just want to peddle, have fun, and ride with more security on them. Go for it.

Like I said...These two items which I purchased could stand to be made THICKER. Because they're not thick enough. Particularly what is being asked for these two items. They're over-priced, and not engineered thick enough.

I read that installation was difficult so I was hesitant to purchase. The product arrived early and, after reading the accompanying instructions, I tried to figure out a "better way." I finally gave up and installed them per the instructions. They were extremely easy to install. after deflating the tube, I only separated one side of the bead. I then pumped the tube up for it to keep its shape and put a small amount of pressure on the tire. I then installed the liner and re-attached the bead. Prior to pumping the tire up, I lightly squeezed the tire near the tread and I could feel that the liner was in the correct posiiton all the way around the tire. I then pumped my tires back up, and I'm excited to try these out.

I just had to find something to reduce the number of flats that I was getting on my mountain bike. I ride through the back hills, on trails and get the occasional bull thorn or sharp stone, causing a flat. Since I installed these "Thorn Busters" I have had no flats. I am sold on the protection provided.

I've had these liners for almost a year, and I've gotten 3 flats now at the liner ends. These liners probably protected my tires from thorns, but I think I will buy new liners that have tapered edges so there is less friction at the ends.

Though it says you do not have to remove the tube before instillation you really do to install themright. I even taped them in place so they would not move around on me.
