Got this one instead of the 4-layer version to give me 2 extra layers for additional Raspberry Pi's. Assembly was easy, no tools are required. I did use a small phillips head screw driver to tighten the 8 metal screws that hold the top cover and bottom layer on. The RPi's are fastened to the layers using nylon nuts and washers.

Good stacking case. Peeling off all the paper was a killer on my non-existent finger nails, as the docs say, go slow and you won't rip it and make it harder.Set up tip: 4 of the nylon screws are longer than the rest. Use those for the base layer. I didn't realize this until later and had a hard time as the shorter screws _just_ about make it to the standoffs. Use those 4 screws through the thicker base layer and the shorter screws through the thinner intermediate layers and all will be fine.There are holes and cutouts for fans, but docs make no recommendations on what to get.Sturdy case. All of the needed parts. If you're building a small Pi cluster I can recommend this stack.

I love the idea, and it mostly works well. But, I had a whole bag of fasteners that were the wrong type and did not fit on one of the pi's. It is now loose, even though I cannibalized from the kit to try and get it fastened (I only used 5 of the platforms and used the 6th to attempt a fix).I appreciate the idea and I love how it looks, but I am disappointed in the quality control.

Looks very nice, and is very sturdy. Makes it easy to see the individual Raspberry Pis, and be able to rewire at will. Allows for great ventilation.

Nice!Idea: a simple cable management system. It gets crowded quickly once the PIs are powered, wired for ethernet, maybe some USB etc...

They are more expencive then others now. Risers are not standard

Nice simple case that worked as expected.
