Yes this can be used on fiberglass. I have copied a section from Pond Armor's application FAQ below. If you need more help you can call Pond & Garden Depot toll free at 1-866-305-5459 Fiberglass Surface Tooth – Thoroughly sand fiberglass with 60-grit sandpaper. Cleaning – It is recommended that the finished surface be cleaned with wax and grease remover prior to coating. Use one lint-free cloth to apply the wax and grease remover and another separate cloth to remove it. Use gloves to keep from contaminating the surface as you clean it. Application – Gloves should be worn during the application process as the oil in your fingertips could be enough to contaminate the surface of the fiberglass. **Q: Will this work with a Polyethylene liner?** A: Thanks for the question, unfortunately the manufacturer states that this is not intended for use with liners. Clean and sand the area where the crack is before applying. However if you have a pristine smooth surface that you're coating, maybe it'll cover like they say. We were coating concrete, and so it the coverage was definitely reduced. The coating looks good however, and brushed on pretty good. We did 2 coats. Like many other reviews state - mix only what you can apply in 15 minutes, and not a drop more. I've never seen anything harden so fast... One sec it was like latex paint, then within 15 seconds it was like tar on the brush, and about 30 seconds later my brush was permanently glued to my paint tray. Would I recommend? Absolutely, just order about 30% more than you think you need. And work fast. No, work really fast. Looks great, and sealed our leak. After a full cure cycle and testing, this two-part epoxy coating performs flawlessly as a heavy-duty waterproof barrier, but it is a highly unforgiving product if you try to cut corners on preparation.Preparation & Surface CompatibilityThe Prep Work: You absolutely cannot skip the acid-etching or mechanical grinding phase if you are coating concrete. I etched my fountain base with muriatic acid, rinsed it thoroughly, and let it dry completely.Self-Priming Power: The self-priming chemistry works precisely as advertised.
