came torn & nicked in multiple areas
The item overall is solid wood, with a paper material (almost wallpaper type) on top, and about an inch thick. Could easily stand on a shelf without having to hang.The item I received came wrapped in bubble wrap & in an amazon bag, BUT the surface had a huge gauge on the front (top of the S in the first picture) and the edges have nicks and scratched edges. Also, the edge paper is peeling off in one spot, which wouldn't normally be an issue (especially if it was less expensive), but the final execution is just very poor. Incredibly disappointed and returning.

Damaged Product
UPDATE:Turning 3 stars to 5 stars. This second order arrived in perfect condition and I can tell they have updated their packaging methods. It was a lot more secure which allowed the product to arrive in mint condition. It looks great and the quality of the product is very nice!The product was received ripped up in the front and the tag was ripped in half in the back causing it to look used. My son was very upset. Definitely returning this item. I’ll place another order and see how that one arrives. If good I will update this review.
