Big hype. Poor quality. Waste of money
So sad. I pre ordered this and was eagerly waiting with needles poised. It arrived today and I tore the package open. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.I expected recongnisable Star Wars items, mainly characters. The clothes, with exception of the clone hat are virtually unrecognisable as anything at all. Some of it is just plain ludicrous.Baby Yoda is a ok but the rest are not much good. Then the patterns themselves. The quantities are written in skeins not ounces so no clue what is actually needed. The style of the pattern writing is not good either. I am an experienced knitter so I goodness know what an inexperienced person would do.Over all, hugely disappointing. I might try and translate the clone hat but probably to much trouble and frustration. Then again I might take the picture and try and apply it to a better hat pattern. All in all, big waste of money.

Beautiful book for Star Wars and knitting fans
Love this book, can’t wait to get knitting! Really nice to have a book with some actually wearable designs - really clever and cute and they range from very obviously Star Wars to quite subtle which I like! The patterns give wool required in length (metric and imperial) and oz and instructions seem clear. There are a range of patterns for different skill levels. Also the book is beautiful! Star fighter scarf is first on the list!

Nice book and selection of patterns, not suitable for beginners, aimed at Americans.
The book is well presented as not just another pattern book, but some nice pictures and did you know facts about Star Wars. I haven't started a pattern yet, but having looked through they wouldn't be suitable for a beginner. My only other gripe is that the patterns are obviously made with Americans in mind as all the yarn it suggests I haven't even heard of, nor can I get a hold of living in the UK. So having to replace the suggested yarn, with yarn of a similar weight and hoping for the best.

Great for experienced knitters
After searching for Star Wars knitting patterns, I eventually came across this one, which I pre-ordered. It is such a stunning book, complete with photos, movie quotes and of course, the patterns themselves. I'd say that even the "beginners" or "easy" patterns might be a little too complicated for the beginner, but for a more competent and experienced knitter, this book will seem fun and completing the projects will be amazing! As a more experienced knitter myself, I look forward to taking my needles and wool and creating wonderful things I can give as gifts to my friends.

Complicated knitting instructions.
Tried to make one or two items but found the instructions too complicated and am a lifelong experienced knitter. Have nearly completed Princess Leia’s Jerkin but shelved due to a house move. Didn’t feel the makes looked good enough to work on. Disappointed.

Great for a fan
Will I make all of these for the fan in my life? Probably not, however, there are some that will be used.
