**Q: How often should I apply for low back pain?**
A: If your system tolerates it well. I would apply as needed.

**Q: Is the container safe for dmso? some materials are incompatible (ie container material leaches into you if you put it on your skin)**
A: 6 years later and there is no deterioration or change whatsoever to the container. Just happened to look here because I was thinking of buying some more. That's how long it has lasted me!

**Q: What purpose does the Aloe Vera serve in this product?**
A: A typical (but harmless) side effect of DMSO, which I have experienced a number of times, is a rather intense itching for a while. The Aloe Vera largely prevents this, and that is the formulation that I have always used in recent years, with almost no problem with the itching.

**Q: is dmso gel better than dmso cream?**
A: It's about the same.  With the gel or cream you don't waste any and can target the areas better.  This DMSO does NOT leave a garlicky smell in my mouth either.  Was very surprised when I first used it.
