These are great. I just soak my cotton balls in acetone, pop them into the clips and clamp them down on my fingertips (making sure there's full contact with my nails, obviously) and then all I have to do is wait. It's super easy to take them off to check the progress of the removal and then put them back on. If you're doing this by yourself, you'll have to do one hand at a time and be strategic about the order in which you incapacitate your fingers, but that's really the only downside. If the regular clips are a bit pinchy on your thumbs, you can use the big toe clips that come with the set. And the best part is, no tin foil to mess around with.

A great alternative to aluminium foil

I bought this to remove those pesky glitter nailpolish from Color Street. Those glitters, as is with all glitters takes a bit of work to remove. But with this, after using it for 5 minutes, the darn polish just slides right off! I love that the cotton pads are thick so I actually cut them in 2 and get more bang for my buck. The only thing I wear is Color Street nails so that is all I can speak for. Truly a great purchase!!!

It was suggested to me that I get these clips and a bottle of mineral fusion to help with getting my Color Street nail polish strips off. Wow! I am so impressed! I did one hand at a time and after a 5 min soak the glittery strips came right off! It’s a little fumbley trying to figure out how to use them at first but I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Really happy with this purchase!

I have used foil and every other method of removing gel polish (I won't use an electric file because I have real nails and it tends to take off too much of my nail layers) and nothing else works like this!I filed off some of the gel but stopped before seeing the nail bed. I applied acetone to the cotton and used the clips to hold it on for 5 minutes. MOST of the gel chipped/peeled off with one application! I reapplied the soaked cotton on the nails that weren't completely clean and 5 minutes later the polish come off 100%!My new favorite way to remove gel from my natural nails AND completely reasonable price!
