Q: How is the fit for smaller SD heads?

It fits okay, but if you are moving the doll around outside taking pictures, you might want to get a silicone cap. It will keep the wig in place. I bought a set for my Smart Dolls for non SD wigs.

Q: Will this wig fade? I read the caps can stain through...If its too small or big can I return it??

I’m not sure if the color fades- this was a gift to my granddaughter’s American Doll, & her family lives in Colorado. But the fit was very good as reported by my granddaughter.
