Hantek 6022BE Big bang for the bucks !!
Great scope for the price and will differently get you by for hobbits electronics projects.I purchased the Hantek 6022BE from the official Hantek distributor (DUBY) and service was amazing with prompt shipping and delivery or scope .Scope comes very nearly packaged with USB cable ,2 passive 10X probes and software disk and is compatible with Windows 10.Sampling rate and bandwidth seems to be more than enough for the hobbyists or even mechanics that want to see signals from sensors or CAN network data .My only dislike is that the scope does not have a "roll mode" for larger time bases like 1sec/div so I can view slower analog signals in real time instead of waiting for the trigger to draw the image .Overall this scope is a steal for the price and the functionality of it is user friendly so that even novice can use it with little learning curve.

Get the open-source software for best experience
This little osciloscope requires a computer with driver and control software. The software provided by Hantek is not great and only runs on Windows. Fortunately there is a downloadable open-source software package called OpenHantek6022 that runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. It provides a much easier to use and more reliable interface for the oscilloscope. When the scope is combined with the open software, it's a great value and a nice tool for casual or entry-level use.

I LOVE THIS THING!
I've always wanted an oscilloscope and was always deterred by the cost. This device is the answer to many dreams from my youth and today. I use it on my workbench to diagnose and repair vintage computers and peripherals. It is well-supported under Linux.Absolutely wonderful!

Excellent for beginners and lower frequency work
This scope is excellent for the beginner or hobbyist that just wants to have a look at low-frequency signals, however, the unit I got, even after calibration and setting the probe compensation, still had a significant DC offset on channel 2. The 20MHz bandwidth claim is a bit iffy because the sampling rate isn't high enough to use for any kind of measurements accurately above about 1MHz. Pretty good for a cheap-and-cheerful scope though.

For Beginners
Bought primarily for use on car .. did not want to use the TEK scope with the HV probes on the ignition system but its worked ok for other stuff including trouble an amplifier design for my sons EE class. I have recommended this to multiple people as a beginners scope. There are several limitations here --this is only DC coupled so if you need AC couple you need a series cap. It has a 12 bit resolution so the min signals is not that small - dont expect to look at uV signals as this will be in the noise. The system uses two USB ports, when you install the driver you have to repeat the order on the USB -- if you change it the unit will not initialize. Dont get me wrong -- of the price this is perfect and for a new EET/EE in school it would be a great thing to have.

save your money for the real thing
it isn't convenient, old out dated software of a bare bones scope so no extra features at all. with today's higher res displays, pixel count makes so you cant read any of the txt without messing up computers display settings. just not good at all. oh and if your a beginner just want to learn... STAY away i may know somebody who had one and slipped accidentally hitting the main POOFF! it and his 5000$ PC both giant paper weights now. I was so unhappy, i mean, he was so unhappy. trying to save a couple of bucks that will now ended up costing me thousands. 100% Not Worth It

Works Great for the Price
I used this device to help diagnose a cam sensor issue on my VW. It comes with some preinstalled tests that are easy to use. I had never used an oscilloscope prior to this but I will not work on my cars without it now. It's a great tool to diagnose sensor problems as well as many other issues. The one thing I recommend is to buy a 6 ft. or longer USB cord extension so you can put your compute on a bench or cart while working on your car.

Use the OpenHantek software instead of provided software
The stock software is pretty much useless for this scope. Fortunately, others realized this and developed a replacement tool set for this at openhantek.org.
