Love the way it flow on paper

Easy enough for a novice and good enough for pros.
I’m getting started in pen and ink illustration, so don’t take this as an expert’s opinion. I tried dip pens and brushes first. For a beginner like me, they were too messy and it was frustrating to try to get the lines that I wanted. With this brush pen, I can draw lines of any thickness I want, including very thin lines. The thickness is controlled by how much pressure you use. It takes practice to consistently get the thickness you want. This brush pen uses actual bristles like a conventional brush. (Some pens labeled as brush pens have a hard tip.) The ink is supplied by a cartridge. They are available in packs of 12. If you want to save money, you can try re-filling the empty cartridges. I’ve had mixed success doing it. There are a number of on-line videos showing how to use this brush pen. Many professionals use this brush pen. Finally, it is inexpensive, so it doesn’t cost much to try it out and see if it’s right for you.

The brush pen is good and the ink is waterproof after it dries. Ink flow is good.

Great brush pen. Fun to use, difficult to master
I bought this pen after seeing artists all over YouTube and elsewhere talking about how fun it is to use. It is fun to use, but definitely difficult to master. The quality of this brush pen is very high. It was easy to install the ink. After installing it, you need to wait several minutes for the ink to soak into the brush. But once you do, it's time to experiment! The brush tip can make a very fine line if you have a steady hand. It varies the width of the line going from fine to thick easily. The ink itself is a nice solid black with great coverage. It dries quite quickly, but if you're not careful and working fast it's easy to smudge. All that said, I can see why artist hold this pen in such high regard, though I think it will take me quite a while to master it.
