How do you counteract the smell? Especially if you wash your hair (not just your scalp), what do you do about the tar smell?

The smell doesn't bother me. I like that this shampoo doesn't try to cover it up with super-sweet-smelling gunk like so many others do. Those fragrances, I find intolerable. This just smells like... well, tar. It's a pretty clean smell in my opinion. And it rinses out pretty completely, anyway. So I would advise, just be sure to rinse thoroughly!
