I’m a beginner and this stuff was pretty cheap so I bought it and now I’ve made at least 4 macrame plant holders with it. I love this

I’ve never macramed before this so I don’t have any other cord to compare it to. Yes, the ends did fray pretty easily but it wasn’t excessive and I was still able to get my project done. As a macrame cord I say it fulfills it’s function. My biggest problem is the amount. My project needed 56 strings, each 16 ft long, necessitating 896 ft of cord. So I ordered 2 sizes, the 109 yards and 218 yards, which SHOULD yield 981 ft of cord. Nearly 100 ft more than I needed. I ended up just BARELY having enough to complete my project, resorting to me coming up with the final string by tying the two ends together that were too short to work on their own. I admit that not every string was exactly 16 ft, and that 109 and 218 were approximations, but I should NOT have come up as short as I did. It does the job but if you need accurate amounts I’d look elsewhere.EDIT 1: I have been contacted by the seller about the amount I have received, and they were kind enough to compensate for the amount I didn’t receive. Extremely grateful for reaching out, will update again once received.EDIT 2: Received my extra cord. Arrived on expected date and am extremely satisfied with the product.

This isn't the type of cotton cord I was wanting. It almost feels like yarn. I ordered this for macrame, I personally don't like it. It's very difficult to unravel as well. SOOOO BUMMED!

This cord is so soft and wonderful! I actually bought it to use in my woven wall hangings, especially as fringe, so I was looking for something that would also unravel and have a pleasant natural appearance and this delivered.

I'm no macrame expert so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but this cord has been pleasant to work with and makes sturdy knots. It has an attractive natural color and no strange odors. I originally subscribe & save'd this just for the discount and planned to immediately cancel, but I ended up keeping the subscription and bumping it up a few months to get a second ball since it's the best price I've seen on amazon or elsewhere for this length.
