3D Printed Diamonds iPhone 5 Case, Red

This might sound cheesy, but I'm really excited about having my own 3D printed "thing" so this gets an extra star just for being my first. That being said, it's a really expensive iPhone case. Here's things that bear repeating or stating:* This is correctly described as not being a protective case. It's accurate and I'm sure it does no such protective thing. It's hard plastic and will probably crack if I drop my phone on anything other than carpet. There are other cases billed as "protective" so if that's your thing, buy the other one since this is accurately advertised.* I got the red one and it's actually dark red or burgundy, not bright red like in the picture. That was a bit of a bummer.* The description says it will allow for a grip - true. I could also be described it as kind of rough to the touch. On the up side, it's definitely not going to fall out of my pocket because my phone is too "slippery".* The detail on the back side is pretty cool. The round hole has the Apple log in the center. The horizontal gap should have the iPhone name/logo but it's a little off center. The diamonds are a nice design and the detail is good.* The holes line up perfectly for the buttons. The mute and volume buttons are all accessible through one big hole. There's another large hole (visible in the photo) on the bottom for speaker, earphone, and power.* This fits like a glove - very snug. It's well designed to snap onto the phone and it's not coming off without using both hands and unsnapping it out of there.Looking at it as just an iPhone case, there are others that are cheaper, more protective, or more pleasant. Overall, this is pretty cool for being an early stage 3D product that's commercially available. Glad I got it but probably not getting another.
