The zipper is smooth and thick, seems like it will hold up the whole year. The sequins have not fell off at all, especially considering my daughter is always messing with them because when you swipe your hand over them, it changes design. The lunchbox is just as good of quality. The inside is the typical material normally found inside lunchboxes. It's easy to wipe clean, and is big enough to fit a sandwich, juice box, fruit cup, and a bag of chips. You get more with this for what you pay.
